Do you check Yelp or Google for reviews?

I noticed there is a disparity in average ratings on Yelp vs. Google, sometimes the difference being one whole star (4.5 vs 3.5). I’m wondering which platform people rely on/trust more? There seems to be more recent activity on Google, but Yelp reviews tend to be more detailed and critical. Curious to hear what people say!
I tend to use Google more now fof convenience but I do feel sometimes their reviews skew higher/feel inflated.

I look at both and decide based on the lowest among the two . Also look at the more recent reviews to better decide.
